Human-Computer Interface for Industrial Process Operators in the Coastal Provinces of Mainland China

Abstract:

This project describes human computer interaction issues for a user population with special requirements. The user population selected for this project was Industrial Process Operators in the coastal provinces of mainland China. The current availability of guidance for Human Computer Interface design for the selected user population is described. Current Human Computer Interface design practices in the process control industry are examined.
