In this paper we propose a way of addressing the problems of evaluating user interfaces for international systems. Although the need for effective evaluation is greater for international software, usability evaluation methods are subject to cultural bias and practical difficulties. We use cultural dichotomies as end-points of various dimensions on which users differ in order to increase the efficiency of user testing and focus resources.Original publication:
