Born and raised in Mexico City, Helena Colyandro first experienced international business while at the Foreign Commercial Section of the U.S. Embassy. Serving as a Trade Aide, Colyandro’s main mission was to create matchmaking opportunities for U.S. businessmen interested in trading with Mexico…. Colyandro currently serves as Dirctor of Texas Border and Mexican Affairs at the Office of the Secretary of State. The Secretary of State is the chief liaison to Mexico and the Border region of Texas, and also plays the role of Border commerce coordinator…. Colyandro is fluent in Spanish, Italian and Portuguese, and she is a Phi Beta Kappa honors graduate from the University of Texas at Austin.Original publication:
