An optimized software internationalization curriculum contains more than the technical detail found in the growing number of good textbooks on the subject. It should also develop student’s cultural awareness in general, and in particular how to identify the overt and covert cultural factors that make for a culturally aware requirements specification. While this paper focuses on an academic course, it might also be successfully applied by commercial organizations wishing to conduct in-house training.Original publication:
