The seminar focuses on how translation and translation technologies affect content and design. We review localization, internationalization, and globalization issues and methods that are known to reduce translation costs, reduce time-to-market delays associated with the translation and localization of print and online content, and reduce usability problems experienced by non-native readers of English.
