This presentation outlines a framework for understanding people holistically. It is called ‘The Four Pleasures’. The framework was derived from the theoretical work of anthropologist Lionel Tiger and philosopher and theologian C.S. Lewis. It has been applied to the design and marketing of many of the world’s most successful products and services across all market types and sectors.The ‘four pleasures’ divides human experience and motivation into the following four areas.Original publication:
