The Information Age has seen the occurrence of social problems created by product anxiety, namely the way in which new technologies have been designed and integrated (or not integrated) into the global community. This paper addresses these problems by calling for international policy and standards and new industry and educational models to facilitate trade and to share our ideas and cultures through multiple disciplines and to create an awareness of the designer’s social responsibilities in the information age.Original publication:
