Title:

Formative Evaluation of International User Interfaces Based on Sorting Techniques

Author:

Dunckley, L. & K. Jheita

Abstract:

This paper describes an investigation into a low cost evaluation method based on Sorting. The technique is shown to be suitable for use with users drawn form different cultural groups. It is suggested that it would be suitable for use in the design of early prototypes as part of localization development. Results of an experimental study are presented, together with insights into users cultural perceptions and personal constructs.
